CARMACKS, YUKON – June 10, 2024 – Carmacks Hotel Ltd. (“CHL”) has created a new Community Investment Fund to support local initiatives, events and programs in Carmacks, Yukon.

The CHL Community Investment Fund will be determined as a defined percentage of revenues earned by CHL, to be annually invested into the community projects commenting this year. For 2024, CHL expects this program to result in investment of up to $50,000. The first donation of $5,000 will be provided to the high school students at Tantalus Community School for their trip to Scotland and Ireland.

Organizations and individuals can apply for funding support from the CHL Community Investment Fund by sending a letter to admin@nvdlp.com. The board of directors of CHL will consider all applications and will allocate the funds amongst qualified applications which benefit the Carmacks community.

CHL is a partnership of the Carmacks Development Corporation and Northern Vision Development Limited Partnership. CHL owns and operates several facilities in the Village of Carmacks, including a hotel and cabins, RV park, restaurant and lounge, grocery store, and fuel services.
